The MmaTranslator package provides translation tools for converting Mathematica to Maple for expressions, command operations, and Mathematica notebooks. The package can translate Mathematica input to Maple input and Mathematica notebooks to Maple worksheets.
Note: The MmaTranslator package does not convert Mathematica programs.
•
There is a Maplet interface to the MmaTranslator package. For more information, see the MmaToMaple help page.
•
To access the translation facilities in the worksheet, you can use the FromMma and FromMmaNotebook commands at the Maple command prompt.
•
Each command in the MmaTranslator package can be accessed by using either the long form or the short form of the command name in the command calling sequence.
Since the underlying implementation of the MmaTranslator package is a module, it is also possible to use the form MmaTranslator:-command to access a command from the package. For more information, see Module Members.
