The aerospace industry has become one of the most active industries in the deployment of MapleSim. This Webinar presents an overview of some of the key application areas. The concepts of physical modeling have long been a key aspect of engineering in aerospace companies. Indeed, it was aerospace that pioneered new techniques in HIL (Hardware in the Loop) for testing control strategies. Understandably aerospace engineers from the commercial aircraft industry, national space agencies, and defence-oriented companies continually innovate their design strategies. In this Webinar, we will review the basic approaches in MapleSim-based physical modeling, and plant modeling for modern digital control and mechatronics applications. Application contexts such as flight control and space robotics will provide concrete examples and case studies.
