Force and Moment

Measures and outputs the forces and moments acting between two frames

Description A force and moment sensor measures the forces and moments acting between the frames. The measured force and moment are made available as vectors. Note: A force and moment sensor acts as a weld joint, rigidly attaching its two frames. It should be used in place of a connector between the two measured frames.

Connections

Name Description ${\mathrm{frame}}_{a}$ Force driver frame ${\mathrm{frame}}_{b}$ Force driver frame $\mathrm{FMOutputF}$ Real signal of dimension 3 that specifies the force measured between the frames. The measured forces are expressed in the frame specified by the parameter Resolved Frame. $\mathrm{FMOutputT}$ Real signal of dimension 3 that specifies the moment measured between the frames. The measured moments are expressed in the frame specified by the parameter Resolved Frame.
