Ideal Diode

Ideal diode

Description The Ideal Diode component models a diode with an on-state resistance of ${R}_{\mathrm{on}}$ and an off-state conductance of ${G}_{\mathrm{off}}$. An optional thermal port is enabled when the Use Heat Port is true.
 Equations $i={i}_{p}=-{i}_{n}$ $v={v}_{p}-{v}_{n}$ $\left\{\begin{array}{cc}i=v{G}_{\mathrm{off}}& v<{V}_{\mathrm{knee}}\\ v=i{R}_{\mathrm{on}}\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.5ex}{0.0ex}}& \mathrm{otherwise}\end{array}$ $\mathrm{LossPower}=vi$
