Enhancements in Roll-to-roll Converting Simulation - New features in the MapleSim Web Handling Library

Discover the latest enhancements to the MapleSim Web Handling Library, an add-on to MapleSim that brings additional resources to better simulate your roll-to-roll converting and handling processes. A series of new components have been added in recent updates, to reflect the effects of laminating and web material processing, web spans affected by sagging, and offering new ways to adjust roller parameters and visualize values of tension or torque.

In this webinar, Maplesoft’s Director of Application Engineering, Orang Vahid will walk through the MapleSim modeling environment, showing how to make best use of new Web Handling Library components for performing dynamic simulations on wide variety of web systems. The many hands-on examples include modeling dancers, investigating tension zones, roller slippage, and system modeling for control validation through a variety of converting processes. You will be able to see for yourself how you can apply system-level modeling to a roll-to-roll process, obtain the system response, and analyze the effect of various system parameters on the performance.
