IntegrationTools

 Expand
 expand an integral

 Calling Sequence Expand(v)

Parameters

v - expression involving definite or indefinite integrals

Description

 • The Expand command expands integrals involved in v: ${{\int }}_{a}^{b}\left(sf\left(x\right)+tg\left(x\right)\right)\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.3em}{0.0ex}}{ⅆ}x=s\left({{\int }}_{a}^{b}f\left(x\right)\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.3em}{0.0ex}}{ⅆ}x\right)+t\left({{\int }}_{a}^{b}g\left(x\right)\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.3em}{0.0ex}}{ⅆ}x\right)$.

Examples

 > $\mathrm{with}\left(\mathrm{IntegrationTools}\right):$
 > $v≔\mathrm{Int}\left(sf\left(x\right)+tg\left(x\right),x=a..b\right)$
 ${v}{≔}{{\int }}_{{a}}^{{b}}\left({s}{}{f}{}\left({x}\right){+}{t}{}{g}{}\left({x}\right)\right)\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.3em}{0.0ex}}{ⅆ}{x}$ (1)
 > $\mathrm{Expand}\left(v\right)$
 ${s}{}\left({{\int }}_{{a}}^{{b}}{f}{}\left({x}\right)\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.3em}{0.0ex}}{ⅆ}{x}\right){+}{t}{}\left({{\int }}_{{a}}^{{b}}{g}{}\left({x}\right)\phantom{\rule[-0.0ex]{0.3em}{0.0ex}}{ⅆ}{x}\right)$ (2)
