Parameters

 package - string or integer

Description

 • The Uninstall command removes an installed package given the name or unique integer identifier of the package.
 • The Uninstall command irreversibly removes the files that were installed by the PackageTools:-Install command.
 • By default packages are installed in "maple/toolbox/package" relative to your home directory.  They can also optionally be installed in "$MAPLE/toolbox/package", where$MAPLE is your Maple installation directory.

Examples

 > $\mathrm{with}\left(\mathrm{PackageTools}\right):$
 > $\mathrm{Uninstall}\left("mypack.maple"\right)$
 > $\mathrm{Uninstall}\left(5095707910340608,\mathrm{version}=1\right)$

Compatibility

 • The PackageTools[Uninstall] command was introduced in Maple 2017.
